My journey began several years ago in San Francisco, where a chance visit to Chestnut Coffee Roaster changed my perception of coffee forever. The unique flavors and notes I experienced were unlike anything I had ever tasted before. I was inspired to learn more about the world of specialty coffee and how it differs from mass-produced brands.

Coffee is a complex and nuanced beverage, with more aromas than wine and finer taste tones than cognac when cursed properly. Sadly, this is not widely known among the average consumer. In today's fast-paced world, it can be difficult to take the time to appreciate the simple pleasures in life, like a delicious cup of coffee. That's why I am passionate about exploring the many nuances of coffee and helping others do the same.

I have dedicated myself to learning everything I can about the world of coffee. From reading articles and researching online, to meeting with industry professionals and taking barista courses from world champion trainers, I have explored every aspect of coffee from Australia to Norway, Bolivia to Japan. I even established my own artisan coffee roaster shop, Kaffeerösterei, in Bavaria where I take time to explore coffee from A to Z. I have carefully selected coffee varieties, roasted and tested them, and roasted them again. I have experimented with various types of coffee, roast profiles, brew methods, and even created my own signature coffee drinks.
I am constantly working to bring special and rare coffee varieties from all over the world to my customers.
